Big Sis Lil Sis
Taylor LOVES Miley. In fact Taylor is the main reason Miley's name is Miley. :) She overheard Nathan and I talking about baby names when I was pregnant and we mentioned the name Miley. Taylor was stuck on that name and asked me EVERDAY, "Can we PAH-LEESE name baby sister, Baby Miley?" How can you say no to that! I do like the name... but Taylor was the main reason...
Anywho... Taylor loves holding Miley and helping me. She is very sweet and caring towards all her siblings. This is a great help to me since Miley wants to be held all the time.
Taylor set up a tea part for her friends :) She had such a good time setting all this up. She asked me for a little table to use so I grabbed a tub from the garage and threw a blanket over it. She was so sweet playing... UNTIL... you guessed it Jackson came in the room! He wanted to have a tea party too... which meant throw the play food across the room. Which of course Taylor screamed and cried! Sigh...
We tried to teach Jackson how to sit and play tea party... but throwing the food was more fun! :)

Miley 2 weeks old
Miley is 2 weeks old here. I have taken monthly pictures with each of our babies with a special stuffed animal so that you can see their growth through their first year. I cherish these pictures. Taylor picked out Miley's stuffed animal. It was actually Payton's from when we went to Disney a couple years ago but Taylor thinks it was hers. Taylor brought me the Minnie Mouse one day while I was still pregnant and said "here Mama I don't need this anymore cause I'm not a baby, baby sister Miley can have it." So we made it here special picture stuffed animal. :)
She is so beautiful!
Miley has been our most high maintenance baby. I always thought that the parents created a "hold me baby" well I didn't do anything different with Miley than I did with our other babies.... she's a hold me baby! Guess I was proven WRONG! LOL she is very sweet as long as she is being held. That has been pretty challenging since there are 4 other children that need me too. We're making it though. Taylor is a huge help and is very gentle with her and able to hold her for me when I can't.
See I told ya...
Take the paci baby!!! She doesn't really care for the paci. I keep trying....

3 Ballerinas
Ever since we found out we were having our first daughter I was so excited for this day to come! I couldn't wait to put her in a ballet class or gymnastics! Little did I know that I would have 3 little girls to sign up! I think why I was so excited for this is because as a child I always wanted to do something like this and was never able to. After some research I found a christian studio that is very reasonably priced (especially considering we are putting 3 girls in the class) reasonable with the leotards and other requirements. I love that b/c you don't know how kids will do until they are in class and I would hate to invest a ton of money into something they wouldn't enjoy. Anywho... that's my soapbox! The girls go once a week and LOVE it! :) The class has 4 girls in it. (3 of those girls are mine! LOL) I like the small class though. The teacher opens up in prayer and closes in prayer and it's all praise music that they are learning to dance to! So sweet! All 3 girls did surprisingly great with the poses and learning the different positions. Addy surprised me the most she looked like a formal ballerina! Of course I had my camera for their first class... :)

Taylor's 5th Birthday
So we are doing the girls birthdays a little different this year. First of all Taylor's B-day is in July, Addy's is in August and Payton's is in September all not quite a month apart. So its alot of work to have that many parties close together. I have done a big party and a birthday dinner (on their actual B-day) for them every year. This year... we decided on just the birthday dinner and we're taking them to Sea World at the end of August! :) This started because I'm pregnant and tired... LOL and I thought it would be the same cost from doing 1 party to take our family to Sea World... Boy was I wrong! Its more expensive than I thought... So it turned into all 3 girls Birthdays! The girls love the idea of Sea World so they are happy with this change!
So now to focus on Taylor after my explanation... Taylor turned 5 on July 13... it seems like yesterday we had our first baby. I know every mom says this and they truly mean it. Because the time that we have with our children is just to short! I absolutely LOVE the baby stage! (in case you couldn't guess that!) I LOVE the toddler stage of exploring and figuring things out (not the defiance... I could live w/o that!) I am LOVING this stage that Taylor is in. She is learning so much everyday with almost reading... writes very well, she gets concept of addition and subtraction and her memory just amazes me. She says the most hilarious things to us like she is a little adult. She is very sweet to her sisters and brother and gets the orderly method that I "try" for. I am excited for this next year of homeschooling her and watching her blossom even more!
Here are some pics from her birthday dinner. She wanted Gramma, Nana and Papa to be there and we invited her cousins. Lily, Nicholas, Abigail and Alex. Taylor's dinner request was mac n cheese and desert (she does not like cake!) was sugar cookies.

I think Taylor felt very special and really enjoyed herself. I loved seeing that sparkle in her eye "this is my special day!"
