Christmas Traditions Part 4 - Christmas Day

Christmas morning is pretty low key for us. We wake up (or I wake everyone up! :) and we open gifts play with them and just enjoy the time together. I woke up at 6 am, wide awake! I couldn't sleep I was so excited to see the kids faces. I waited until 7:30 to wake everyone up :)  Papa and Nana were in town and we were blessed to have them spend Christmas morning with us.

Before Christmas we asked the girls (Jackson is to young to care)  What is the one thing that you want for Christmas... so that we could make sure to try and get that special item for them.  Taylor and Payton's special item changed a few times... :)  but Addison's did NOT waver... at all.  She talked about this certain Princess Belle doll (Beauty and the Beast) everyday... in extreme detail.  We happen to see this doll at Burlington Coat Factory back in September!  She hadn't forgotten about it.  I got it and it was the last one! :)

Jackson said alot of Ooooh's and Wow!

Each kid got a piggy bank and they lined them up.

Jackson loves this toy.

Taylor and her Hello Kitty headband.

Payton got a bracelet from Papa and Nana.

Jackson loves this car ramp thing... he loves all his "boy toys!"

Addy got her Princess Belle doll!!!

 She loves her!

Payton loves Cinderella

We made this scrabble art for Boo.  I don't have a close up pic.  But it's made out of scrabble tiles and it's everyone in the Fields family names.... She loved it!

WOW!  That's a mess!  Here is the after math of Christmas...

Daddy showing Jackson how to golf.

Last year I cooked Christmas dinner for our entire family, my mom's side and Nathan's side.  It was our first Christmas living back in Jacksonville and I guess I was super excited about it or something.  As much as I enjoyed doing it... it was a ton of work! Whether it's being 9 months pregnant or I grew some sense this year.... we invited everyone over for desserts this year.  I love seeing our extended family!!!

My brother Adam...

The girls got new shoes and pajamas

And a princess mirror!  It tells them how beautiful they are :)

I feel so blessed to be back in Jacksonville and spend this special holiday with our family!
