Addison's Birthday Party!

Addison changed her mind probably 500 times about what kind of party she wanted.  She loves everything!  I "kinda" talked her into a Princess Belle party.  I have been dying to do a princess party since having a girl but they have never wanted one!  I don't understand why they love the princesses... can you tell I'm a little upset about that... anywho... Addison LOVES Belle so she was excited about the party being a princess Belle party.  I did more of a Beauty and the Beast party.  I think it turned out great :)

I set up a "Madam Wardrobe" dress up area.  The girls loved it!  I did have some boy dress up for the boys.

I set up a "Belle's Library" area with a whole bunch of princess books for the kids to read.  A couple of people ended up sitting in front of it during the party so it didn't get used during the party... Oh well... it was cute and my girls enjoyed it before the party.

I had Taylor write Belle's Library on the chalkboard.  Addy copied underneath her writing.

Here they are taking advantage before the party starts.

This made it all worth it!

I guess they were tired of me taking their pictures ;)

I put one of the girls play roses in a jar upside down to make the Beast's rose.

My SIL, Teresa, made the cupcakes.  They were red roses.

Do you remember in the movie during the song Beauty and the Beast Cogsworth gets stuck in jello?  Yeah so I put Cogsworth in jello... get it :)  Ok so this was my fav movie as a kid :)

Girls dressing up...

My mom and lil sis Nora

                                                            Miley kept talking to Danny

                                                              Katie all dressed up

Pretty girls

So the ladybug costume was not in the princess dress up for the party.  The girls got more stuff out of their closet... which was fine.  Just not what I had in mind ;)

So instead of Addy wearing her Belle dress she's a ladybug! LOL

                                                                 Time for presents!

Addison's 5th Birthday!!!

We had no idea what God had in store for us when He blessed us with Addison!
It seems like yesterday you were 8 weeks old.
So sweet so full of personality already...

You are so full of life!
And I love that smile and your goofy laugh!

I love how your curious and you LOVE the beach!

During school (last year) one of our scriptures that we were learning was "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" Matthew 16:15

I was explaining it to the girls and was saying God can send you to different areas of the world.  Addy proudly proclaims "I know God wants me to go to the beach!"  Have I said lately how much I love this girl!

Lately Addison has been saying a lot of things to us.... about "what God told her."  She is hilarious.  She wanted to know what Nathan's work looked like on the inside and what color the walls were.  Nathan told her they were white.  She asked why?  He said I guess they didn't want to paint them.  Addison said... "God wants me to paint them yellow!"  She has a lot of stories like this...

It has been a little over 3 months since her surgery.  Her follow up ultrasound went great!  She doesn't have to go back for another 6 months!  And Praise the LORD she has NOT been sick one time since surgery!

Ok this post has become an Addy post and not her birthday but I think she deserves it!  So onto her birthday...  I try and make their favorite meal for their birthday... right now that is mac n cheese, chicken nuggets & peanut butter toast.  Hopefully as they get older that will change. ;)

Addy opening her present from Papa & Nana.

Addy got a mini makeup kit with nailpolish.  Here is Taylor painting her nails and she did Payton's and Addison's.  She was so excited that she did it all by herself.  She said "now I don't have to ask you and I can do it all by myself!"  mmmhmmm... thanks Papa and Nana! LOL!

I "tried" to make a Belle cake for Addy.  It turned out ok...

Addy opening up her presents from Mommy and Daddy.

I can't keep this boy off the tables!

This is what happens when you have 4 older siblings.

I LOVE this face!  I could squeeze her!

I think she was a happy girl :)
